In The Veterinary Clinic Group we are doing everything we can to keep your pet healthy whilst observing the UK Government lockdown and Social Distancing guidelines during this pandemic. Our pets are an essential part of our lives and our lives are enriched by them so we want to do the very best we can under difficult circumstances.
We are now recommending video and phone consultations wherever we can to reduce contact unless a face-to-face consultation is necessary.
The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons have changed their guidelines so that we can now see all cases where there might be a deterioration in the next 8 weeks. If you are concerned about your pet please phone your usual clinic.
Due to staff shortages we have had to close some clinics and change the way that we answer our phones. Please help our teams to help you by being patient and answering their questions as the phone might not be answered by someone who is personally familiar with your pets.
We are vaccinating puppies, kittens and baby rabbits and doing annual boosters where your pet might be at risk.
We are still providing long term medicines, food and parasite treatment. Please contact your branch. We have special ways to pick up treatments and new ways of communicating with you. If you don’t have access to a smart phone or the internet please just tell our call handlers and they will find ways to help you.
In all cases social distancing must be respected to protect both our clients and our staff so please check what our procedures are in advance of your visit.
